The celebration of 35 years of Café The Plaza continues on Sunday with music, entertainment, family fun and the return of the legendary Plaza Games. Entrance is free. Line-up: 2:00–4:00 PM — DJ Gab 2:00–6:00 PM — The Plaza Games 4:00–6:00 PM — DJ Sky 6:00–8:00 PM — Tsunami 8:00–9:00 PM — DJ Sky MC for the day is Jair Dijkhoff. The Plaza Games bring back the Ober Race, the Beer Contest and the Frikandel Eating Contest, with cash prizes. Watching is free; taking part needs advance online registration — see the separate Plaza Games listing for the details. Anniversary special: a $20 breakfast platter for two with a mimosa. Kids Corner: face painting for the little ones throughout the event. No ticket is needed — entrance is free and you can walk in. Tables can be reserved in advance through the café's own reservation page.
