Terms of Service

Welcome to ArubaEvento ("we", "us", or "our"), an event discovery platform for Aruba available at arubaevento.com (the "Service"). These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are an agreement between you and us. By browsing the Service, or by creating an organizer account, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What the Service Is

ArubaEvento is a listing and discovery platform. Event organizers publish information about events taking place in Aruba, and anyone can browse and search those listings without an account. We are not the organizer, host, or seller of any event listed on the Service, and we do not sell tickets.

2. Organizer Accounts & Approval

• To publish events you must create an account and complete an organizer profile with accurate, current information about you or your business.
• New organizer accounts are reviewed manually. We may approve, reject, suspend, or revoke an organizer account at our sole discretion, with or without stating a reason. Approval does not constitute an endorsement of an organizer or their events.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
• You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, to create an organizer account.

3. Your Content & the License You Grant Us

Organizers retain ownership of the content they publish — event titles, descriptions, images, and related details ("Content"). By publishing Content on the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt (including resizing, cropping, and reformatting images for different screens and previews), publish, publicly display, and distribute that Content in connection with operating and promoting the Service — for example on event pages, in search results, in social media link previews, and in search engine listings.

You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to all Content you publish (including the rights to any photos you upload), and that your Content does not infringe anyone else's rights or violate any law.

4. Content Rules

You agree not to publish Content that:

• is false, deceptive, or misleading — including events that do not exist or details you know to be wrong;
• infringes intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights;
• is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, hateful, or harassing;
• promotes illegal activity or scams, or impersonates another person or business;
• contains malicious code or links designed to harm or deceive visitors.

Events are published immediately once posted by an approved organizer. We may remove or edit any Content, or decline to publish it, at any time and at our sole discretion, including when required by law or when we believe it violates these Terms.

5. Tickets, Purchases & Third-Party Links

Event listings may include links to third-party websites — for example a "Get Tickets" link to an external ticketing provider, or directions on a maps service. Those websites are not operated by us. Any purchase, registration, or other transaction you make is solely between you and the organizer or third-party provider, under their terms. We are not a party to those transactions and are not responsible for tickets, payments, refunds, or admission.

6. Event Information Disclaimer

Event details are provided by organizers. While we review organizer accounts before they can publish, we do not independently verify each event's details, and events may be changed, rescheduled, or cancelled without notice. Always confirm important details (date, time, location, price, admission requirements) with the organizer before making plans or purchases.

7. Our Intellectual Property

The Service itself — including its design, software, name, and logo — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except for the rights expressly granted in these Terms, no rights in the Service are transferred to you.

8. Suspension & Termination

You agree not to misuse the Service, or to access it by any means other than the interfaces and instructions we provide. You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account through your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account or access to the Service at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms, created risk or legal exposure for us or others, or where required by law. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including licenses already granted to published Content, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) survive.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service — including anything arising from events listed on the Service, organizer Content, or third-party websites. To the same extent, our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to [USD 100]. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

11. Indemnification

If you are an organizer, you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from the Content you publish, the events you organize, or your breach of these Terms.

12. Changes to the Service or These Terms

We may modify or discontinue the Service (in whole or in part) at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time; when we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page, and for material changes we will take reasonable steps to notify organizers. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Aruba, and any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Aruba, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
