The Plaza Games — Ober Race, Beer Contest & Eating Contest

The Plaza Games are back as part of Café The Plaza's 35th anniversary weekend. Free to watch — registration is only needed if you want to compete. Ober Race: gather a team of 4 and go head-to-head against another team of 4. Participation is completely free, and the winning team takes up to AWG 350 cash. Beer Contest: AWG 25 participation fee, 18+ with valid ID required. Win up to AWG 250 cash. Frikandel Eating Contest: who can eat the most frikandels? AWG 10 participation fee, winner takes all — up to AWG 150 cash. Online registration is required for all games; use the registration link on this listing. Music through the afternoon comes from DJ Gab (2:00–4:00 PM) and DJ Sky (4:00–6:00 PM), with Jair Dijkhoff as MC. Kids Corner has face painting for the little ones throughout. The Games run inside Day 2 of the Café The Plaza Festival, which continues with Tsunami live until 10:00 PM.
